Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA safety regulations and DOT compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage delivery schedules with precise time management
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Swift professionally at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Oklahoma regional routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Strong attention to safety and compliance
- Reliable transportation to depot
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
