Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to transport freight across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight as required (no-touch freight available)
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
