Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to strict delivery deadlines and safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and required certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- 1+ year recent commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Strong navigation skills and route planning ability
- Flexibility for regional overnight trips (2-4 days)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
