Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes across Texas and Louisiana
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Manage delivery documentation and proof of receipt
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Experience with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
