Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (ELR compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Experience with dry van or refrigerated trailers preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Texas road networks and regulations
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening
