Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver goods across the Gulf Coast region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUIs or serious moving violations.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and handle different types of freight (dry van, reefer, or flatbed).
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
