Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions and terrains.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor to ensure product integrity.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere strictly to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and road maps to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding route changes or delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must be current).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MED CARD).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clear driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor roadside repairs if necessary.
