Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan and optimize delivery schedules while maintaining timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions efficiently
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures with warehouse personnel
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging systems
