Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Execute time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Collaborate with dispatch teams for optimal route planning and load efficiency
- Ensure secure handling of high-value freight during transit
- Represent the company with professionalism at all customer interaction points
- Participate in continuous safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with California traffic laws and Bay Area geography
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication abilities for client and team interactions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
