Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within Texas
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight and proper cargo documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems and regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- No preventable accidents or serious violations in last 3 years
