Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in the DC and NY metro areas on time.
- Complete and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean MVR.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Familiarity with DC and NY traffic patterns is a plus.
