Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load management
- Deliver freight on schedule while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Assist with secure loading/unloading procedures
- Report mechanical issues and participate in preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Florida routes and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips when required
