Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes through Nashville and Texas corridors
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and handle exceptions
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight travel as needed
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance coordination
