Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Louisiana and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Load/unload cargo with precision using advanced handling equipment
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure fleet readiness
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 30 days of hire
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
