Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across designated routes in Nashville, TN and Texas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Execute efficient loading/unloading procedures with proper cargo securing
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Proactively communicate with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend deliveries as needed
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of Texas and Tennessee highway systems preferred
