Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure all paperwork is up to date.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or Class B) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and time management skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of trucking operations and cargo handling is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
