Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional freight transport
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver freight on time to Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona destinations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Represent the company professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with eld systems and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and variable schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
- Spanish language skills a plus for border crossings
