Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport goods across Michigan and neighboring states
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight at various client locations
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Michigan roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
