Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractors for regional freight delivery
- Maintain meticulous pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle secure cargo with proper loading/unloading procedures
- Report maintenance issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Proficient with ELD technology and route navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
