Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining accurate logbooks and DOT compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimized routing and on-time performance
- Uphold Mountain State's safety standards and customer service excellence
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
