Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) on local/regional routes
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch via Qualcomm for real-time updates
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and customer service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Familiarity with Nashville metro area and regional highways
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
