Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Maintain meticulous logs and documentation in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimal routing
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards during all client interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
