Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in a timely and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere to strict company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Uphold a professional image and represent Prime Transportation Solutions positively.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
