Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional/local routes in Charlotte, NC and Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Regional/local driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of Charlotte, NC and Texas highway systems
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Must be 23+ years old with 2+ years verifiable experience
