Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) during overnight hours to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate electronic logging (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize route efficiency and delivery timelines
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with attention to inventory control
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Proven night shift driving capability and familiarity with Atlanta metro routes
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
