Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securing techniques
- Communicate dispatch updates and delivery confirmations via telematics
- Participate in monthly safety training and equipment certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning software
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
