Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and logging
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Local/regional route familiarity preferred
