Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks or flatbeds for local deliveries within 100-mile radius
- Safely load/unload freight using pallet jacks and dollies
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery windows
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Familiarity with Boston metro area roads
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning starts (4-6 AM)
