Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and client sites
- Implement defensive driving protocols in all weather conditions
- Maintain clean driving record and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Virginia traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
