Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and timely deliveries
- Submit daily trip reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (Hazmat certification a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
