Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers for local and regional deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major moving violations.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
