Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) for local/regional routes
- Safely transport freight while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Utilize electronic logging systems for compliance and route optimization
- Represent company brand through professional appearance and customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must pass comprehensive background check
