Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within North Carolina and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic fleet maintenance documentation
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate shipment status
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time delivery
- Represent Premiere Transport Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation technology
- Strong spatial orientation and navigation skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays during multi-day trips
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading
