Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet tight delivery windows
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery manifests
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and local traffic ordinances
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation
