Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely on regional routes within 300-mile radius
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper pallet jack operation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning
- Communicate dispatch updates via mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jack
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Maryland roadways and bridge restrictions
- Smartphone proficiency for mobile app usage
- Flexible availability including early morning starts
- Twic card preferred
