Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within the Mid-Atlantic corridor
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimized routing and on-time delivery
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation
- Represent company values through professional customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to obtain hazmat endorsement (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and ELD systems
- Strong knowledge of Maryland/PA/NJ transportation regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
