Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, flatbed) adhering to all traffic laws.

Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.

Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (forklift, straps, chains).

Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and delays.

Adhere to company policies regarding fuel management and route optimization.

Represent the company professionally at all times while on the road and at customer facilities.

Qualifications

Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.

Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 5 years.

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious violations in the last 3 years.

Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.

Strong understanding of road safety and defensive driving techniques.

Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
