Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques per DOT standards
- Communicate with dispatch team via Qualcomm for real-time updates
- Document delivery receipts and resolve customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain clean driving record and complete annual safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and Qualcomm systems
- Knowledge of hazmat procedures (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally during loading/unloading
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend deliveries as needed
- Texas residency required for local/regional routes
