Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks on regional routes within 500-mile radius
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT/HOS regulations
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Maintain clean driving record and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and electronic logging devices
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Regional route knowledge preferred
