Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines while prioritizing safety and fuel efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and navigation systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
