Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) across designated routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery schedules to meet on-time performance metrics
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Southwest regional routes and regulations
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts
