Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van refrigerated trailers)
- Complete multi-state deliveries adhering to DOT regulations and schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with safety protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California Central Valley geography
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
- Pass background check and employment verification
