Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment handling and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Participate in continuous safety training programs and quarterly performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation regulations
- Basic navigation skills and route planning experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 23 years old with no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
