Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van refrigerated trailers) during night shift hours
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries in Ohio region
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Columbus metro area and Ohio highways
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
