Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Execute efficient long-haul deliveries across the Midwest region
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage time-sensitive freight with precision and care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Chicago area highways
- Flexibility to work independently during overnight shifts
