Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) during overnight shifts
- Execute time-sensitive deliveries across NYC and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization
- Represent Metro Freight Logistics with professionalism at all client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
- Strong knowledge of NYC metro roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent communication and time management skills
