Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques, ensuring secure handling of all freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally and efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs within the last 5 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physically fit to lift, push, and pull cargo weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Current DOT medical card and valid medical certification.
