Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on designated routes throughout Atlanta and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring accuracy and care of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Certificate and DOT physical on file.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia traffic laws and roadways.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
