Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Deliver time-sensitive cargo to industrial zones across Portland metro
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and on-time delivery
- Secure cargo and maintain inventory documentation
- Respond professionally to route changes and emergency deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- 1+ year night shift driving experience preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement highly desirable
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with ELD systems and route navigation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle loading/unloading duties
- Knowledge of Portland metro industrial routes
