Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Secure and verify cargo before departure and upon arrival
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Respond professionally to emergency route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability (Sunday - Saturday)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade County road networks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be 25+ years old (insurance requirement)
